Up to 12 months of controlled testing, extendable case by case, with possible tailored regulatory relaxation; complete applications are targeted for a decision within 15 calendar days. Typical testing limit is up to 100 volunteer customers unless otherwise approved.

Local and foreign firms with innovative financial services, testing readiness, safeguards and a credible exit plan.

Risks and conditions
CBB will not relax AML/CFT, confidentiality and core consumer-protection obligations; BHD 100 fee applies.
